Blogging

OK so i haven't made a true blog yet for three reasons. I thought that it would be stupid (which it probably will be). I feel like people who blog alot seem to get mean formsprings (am i right ?)And also because i was kind of afraid of what people would think of me, so i was thinking and thinking about what to write so that i would seem cool, But now i just sat down at the computer (because that's just what i do) , and I'm thinking that i could care less what other people think, because if i think to hard about what I'm writing it won't be me. And its not like that many people will even read this, ha ! i only have like six followers anyway ! So now i will just spill my thoughts all over this screen and be myself. So now if i make another blog it will be myself and only me.

GET fabulous curls without the iron

1st step- take a shower and put your hair into a towel
step 2. blow-dry your hair just until it has a little bit of dampness left, enough to be able to dry throughout the night.
step 3- comp your slightly damp hair and put your sponge rollers in (larger rollers on the bottom and smaller rollers on the top) mine are aranged by color- yellow are smallest and the pink are larger. TIP- put some curlers over your natural part so when you comb through your hair you get a more natural look.step 4- wrap a towel or loose hat on your rolers so that you can sleep on them and they wont get super frizzy One night later

step 5- take out the curlers and spray them with hair spray(but not too much, because you still want to be able to run your fingers through it)

now run your fingers through your hair and WAHALA !

now you have your curls ! you can do whatever you want with them, i put mine into a cute messy side ponytail- now try it on your own ! tell me how it worked out !

tricky eyes

Here are a couple of random tips that
you might find useful. If you use these
tips correctly, your eyes will look
awesome. So just take them into
consideration and enjoy !

1. BLEND

blending is key, use at least 3 different colors . One easy way to make sure that your colors blend is to put your (if you put eyeliner on your upper lid) upper liner on first and then do your crease and then add your highlight and blend them as you go along.

2. MAKE YOUR EYE COLOR POP
Matching the color of your eye with a shadow actually brings the color out (think blue shadow on blue eyes). At the same time, contrasting colors make eyes pop too (think a deep jeweled blue shadow on deep brown eyes or gorgeous golds with blue eyes).

3. WHITE

A dot of white shadow or pencil on the inside of the eye near the tear duct will make eyes look brighter. You won't believe how eye-opening this is. It works so great, I use this trick all the time and it is so simple but you wouldn't believe the difference it makes.

4. MAKE IT STAY

Primer is absolutely mandatory if you want your lids looking fresh all day ! You can either find a primer, urban decay has one ,and other places have primers, but if you don't want to spend a fortune on a good primer just use a thick concealer on your eyelids. but make sure that it is thick, none of that cover girl watered down stuff.

mascara without clumps

  1. Brush off extra mascara from the brush/wand thing on a clean Kleenex.
  2. Apply a coat of mascara, wiggling the wand left and right to separate the lashes. (don't wiggle too much, more of a vibrate)
  3. Run a clean, dry mascara wand or even a new toothbrush (recycle one from an old tube of mascara but clean it first with makeup remover or buy a toothbrush) through the lashes.
  4. Let the coat of mascara dry.
  5. Repeat and apply a second coat of mascara.

properly washing your face

When caring for skin with acne, properly washing your face is very important. Bacteria on the face often makes the acne problem worst.

First of all, you have to ensure that your hands are clean by properly before washing your face. Therefore, wash them with soap and warm water before using them to cleanse your face. If your hands are not clean, then you are just transferring bacteria from your hands to face.

You should wet your face with lukewarm water first before applying the facial cleanser. The reasoning is that warm water helps open up your pores. This allows the dirt and bacteria trapped inside to be cleaned off more easily.

You should gently rub the facial clenser on the different areas of your face. Be sure cover all the areas of your face to ensure all the oil and dirt on your face is being removed. Also, avoid scrubbing your skin.

At the end, wash your face off with cold water, which helps closes the pores. When drying your face off with a towel, be sure that the towel you are using is clean.

Also this is optional but i would highly recommend using a moisturizer or face lotion afterward so that your face won't dry out

Also, while it is important to keep your face clean, excessively washing your face will not help remove acne. In fact, washing your face too much can leave your skin too dry.

Don't you just love life ?

tips for lips

1. Apply color onto the center of your lips, blending up and out to the lip line working towards the corners.
2. For longer lasting color, gently blot with tissue, reapply lipstick and blot again.
3. For evening, remember to select a lipstick one or two shades deeper than your daytime color.

For a creamy effect, apply a lip balm to lips before applying lipstick.

For a matte effect, apply lipstick then blot gently with tissue.

For a sheer effect, apply lip balm. Gently dot a small amount of neutral color lipstick across lips, then smooth out.

For a glossy effect, apply lipstick then finish with a clear or neutral color gloss coat for a moist, seductive shine. Remember, the more coats you apply, the more shine so turn up the volume!

tips for eyeliner

Tips for eyeliner

For a natural-looking eyeliner and the illusion of lusher, fuller lashes, use a dark brown eye pencil and carefully press a series
of dots between your lashes following your lash line.

For the sophisticated look, draw a smooth fine line alone the top lashes.

To create the dramatic look, draw a line inside your lash line (as close to the lashes as possible), then along the top of the lash line.

my faves :)
